Austin Air vs Rabbit Air

I"m in need of a good air purifiers and have narrowed it down to the rabbit air...Would any of you mind to chime in on experiences with either brand

I have the Rabbit Air in my bedroom and I love it I got the artist series Klimt's "The Kiss" and the wall hanging brackets, it looks like art and works like crazy. The air smelled fresher, cleaner right away. There is noticeably less dust in my room and I am sleeping better. It is not that loud to me even at night however I do like white noise while sleeping.
One thing that shocked me was I have asthma and sometimes I have to use a nebulizer, as soon as I use it the Rabbit Air clean light which is purple when the air in the room is clean turns red and goes into a higher cleaning mode. It's across the room and yet it is still sensitive enough to pick up those chemicals/medicine going into the air that impressed me! The filters are replaced once a year at about $85

The Austin Air I have also heard and read good things about and was considering getting one of these as well to see which ends up preforming better since I would like air purifiers throughout my house in the long run. Off the bat I will say while not quite as expensive as the Rabbit they are also not as attractive and take up lots of floor space. The filter cost replacement starts at $250 now that is every five years according to their website but frankly I think that is too long to wait in between filter changes so I am still on the fence whether I will purchase one of these or not. I am however very happy with the Rabbit Air so far and even though it is more money I will more than likely buy a second one of these instead only this time "Starry Night".

I was leaning on the rabbit air thanks for your input...I will look for a cool design as well...they definately look alot nicer than the austin air....

I had to check out the Rabbit Air with the artwork and wow, they are so cool! Also found out that they are available for shipping up here so am going to give some serious thought to getting one
