I was googling today to educate myself and stumbled on this nifty informative thing. Didn't see a current thread involving it, so I thought I'd drop it here.

The site has a whole bunch of informational, including how feathers are made, what makes them colorful and so on. May be useful for our newer bird owners who are too shy to admit they don't know what a crop is or simply want to learn more.

I had originally seen your Thread and did not have the time to play with the interactive Avian Anatomy tool. Today I did, and greatly enjoyed the process and the information available was part of the tool. I still use my Avian Medical Reference Book and this is a real step-up in how rapidly one can locate specific information.
