has anyone used this. also where do you buy this from.

For what purpose are you looking to use it?

I tried Avicalm when I first adopted my nervous CAG Scooter. Unfortunately, it wasn't helpful. Other parronts have reported good results with it though. It's available at many online sources and local pet stores that stock bird supplies.

thank you, the problem i have i live in the uk, no one stocks it over here.
but i have now ordered it from America.

i have two caique and one has become aggressive (not to me) and will not stop screaming, they have time out of their cages and play time in the avairy, i have given them some extra supplements and gave them a bath, i have noticed they are a lot better today.
i have read some good results from using avicalm, it's extract from green tea leaf. i have ordered some.

How old is you aggressive caique?

You mentioned you also gave them a bath so it's kind of hard to say. Most birds get calm for a while after a bath at least until they start drying off and start flying around.

What do you mean by extra supplements? Did you already have some avicalm?
I think the owner of the company that produced avicalm also recently passed last year so I'm unsure if it's still being produced or people are just sell backstock.

I'm very skeptical of the product as it seems it works for some but make the condition worse for just as many birds. I imagine like with any supplement, certain "meds" just don't work too well depending on the person.
I'm not an expert.

Regardless, organic chamomile tea is safe for birds within moderation and much cheaper. I give some to Luna sometimes watered down occasionally.

they are nearly 3 years.

they have been good as gold since the bath, also when they scream i have started playing parrots singing and whistling in the wild off youtube and this has a great effect on them, they just sit and go very quiet and listen. maybe they just get moody when i am not giving them all the attention.

i think the bath did help, i have not given them one for a few weeks.

A few weeks? Really? Major morning ritual here! Great Dane size water bowl on the counter! JoJo will skip a day or two, but by day 3, he is sitting on the faucet, waiting for dumdum to catch on!
