So I just took baby #1 to the vet because I thought she had a stretched crop but it turns out that she just has an abnormally large crop. They did a gram stain (I think that's what its called) and it turned up normal. When they sucked up the contents of her crop it turned out there wasn't anything in there so she is emptying all the way. So $126 later we are back at home and I am about to give her her formula. Better to be safe then sorry.

Glad to hear baby is ok ! Your right , better safe then sorry.
Your a great momma :). I know , the vet can be costly, but in the end , we are always glad we went.

I was just concerned because the other three babies haven't had crops that looked like that. But the vet said it was normal for her and she was in perfect health.

Some babies just have a larger crop and they tend to eat more....When you have raised multiple batches from different birds, you'll see what I mean....Same with some of them take longer to wean then other ones.

i'm glad all is well , better safe then sorry

So happy to hear the baby is OK...
