My Amazon parrots are breeding again. I checked today and there were 2 eggs, She jsut had one this morning.

Usually after i take the babies out i have them in a 10 gallon tank with a a large soda bottle filed with water and a fish tank heater in the bottle, and the bottle is wrapped in a towel.

So i use water to heat the tank.

I want to try something differant. I just dont really like doing it like that.

I want to try a rubber maid tub.

Ive never used one of those before.

How is it best to heat them? I have heard of people using two of them and put water and a fish tank heater in one and place the second one on top of the other, how well does that work?

i have heard of some people using a reptile heat lamp for heat?

in the rubber miad tub i wanted to cut the top so its just the rim of it and hot glue gun a mesh screen on top to keep them contained, i was thinking at least a 20 gallon rubber maid tub.

i will have at least 3 african greys in the tub as well as at least 2 blue fronted amazons. ( i only have eggs so far, so i dont know how many will hatch yet).

Thanks for any help or suggestions
