I was gonna buy this 2 month old baby, but I noticed the bald spot. Is this a sign of sickness or normal?

Looks like a pretty young baby. Could just be feathers growing in.

Is it a bump too? It's hard to tell from just a picture but it looks like the cockatiel is just moulting a little early or if he already had this bald spot for a while (ask the ownerd/sellers), the feathers on that spot still need to grow. Growing all its feathers out can take up to 4/5 months,
(although I only have experience with this in conures and my budgies, maybe it should be done for cockatiels in 2 months?)

If you're worried about it I wouldnt risk it though!

Awwwww! What a cutie! Bald areas on baby birds is very normal. Even on adult birds, a small bald area on the breast (no plucking behavior) is often normal. Again, Awwwww!
