Baby is home

Came home Sunday with Baby, he/she will be 3 month old tomorrow.

I've already taught her to fly to my finger. I have to keep her in her cage if I want some peace and quiet. Now that she knows she knows that she can fly to me she won't leave me alone, hehe!

I still need a name if anyone has some suggestions.

I don't know why, but when I first saw the picture, the name that came to me instantly was ...Kiwi... Kiwi bird...

I know what you mean about keeping in cage for peace and quiet...our little Franklin (GCC) is all over us. He could care less about being out with our Tiels...he just wants to be with us and he's velcro I tell ya, we are his jungle gym! If he's on the bed and I walk up to it, he runs to where I am, then climbs up my shirt. He follows us everywhere...he's our "bird dog" LOLOL!!

Cute fun names?

You can go on and google some things...here are a few I found.
Niji-japanese for rainbow
Acobaleno-italian for rainbow (maybe you could call him/her baleno for short)
Names that mean color.......Ciara, Kia, Nula
Cai- chinese meaning full of color

How about dakata or Jacy
There are so many options for you....go online and have some fun with it. Let us know what you decide....

I think Mango would be a great name....then again I had an Alexandrine (green) named Booger so what do i know?

I like the name ideas, I'm just waiting for a name that's easy to say and catches me.

The best name I think I ever came up with is Pico for my green cheek. We named it base on Pico digallo the Mexican salsa but Pico literally means beak. Very appropriate. But in my minds eye that name is already taken.

Congratulations with your bird. She's just amazing. I LOVE the colors... man she is gorgeous!
I'll go with the name Mango or Kiwi. I've always said that if I owned a yellow bird I'd call her Mango, and if she was green I'd call her Kiwi. Yours are kinda in the middle, therefore I'd call her Mikwi LOL
