(s)he is very adorable! All morning during "The Golden Girls" (s)he has been laughing and trying to talk human... the number of "will the neighbor hear" screams has been virtually nil, but it is a cloudy morning...

I've been thinking of names from mythology regarding angels having fallen from grace or have been abandoned. Not the easiest of searches, especially names like "Satan" really don't fit... a fallen angel that hasn't turned evil as a result is what I've been thinking of... gender didn't cross my mind as "Roseanne" (my GCC) is more like "Ralph"...

Of course, I could also be lazy and find one of the apropos deities from "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and pinch that... or the name of my insurance company, "Aviva"... Or, better yet, "Blue Cross Blue Shield" so I can refer to her by the initials, "BS"... (eh, maybe I won't...)

Or maybe I'll call her "Serendipity"... it's too early to tell; nothing feels right yet...

Ooooh, not bad!

For all her plusses, she's still scared. But once I stop feeling cowardly and assert myself, she readily does the 'step up' routine. She can definitely sense... which is odd, since her bites are nowhere near as strong as any GCC I've ever endured.

It's still a matter of reconditioning her from her cagebound nature, as she will not want to come out of her cage... that's what will really take forever... It will be a few months, especially as she's an adult, but she will bond with time. Scooter wasn't much different, apart from being a baby at the time...
