Howdy!
I have some concerns about Zephyr, my SI. Unfortunately, he's started balding on the top of his head. At first, we thought it was a Mojo Moult, as he's prone to them, but the skin appears dry and the feathers aren't growing back.
We're trying to increase vitamin A in his diet in case that's a problem, and we're also going to buy coconut oil during the next grocery run to hopefully help moisturize the skin where he's missing feathers. I've done some internet trawling, but I'm very worried.

We've seen no sign of mites, and this has been gradual. We did have a minor plucking scare, but he can't reach the top of his head, and we're increasing social time and rotating cage decorations more often. Any plucking he was doing has completely stopped, although we're still waiting for a moult to regrow the lost feathers.
Of course, we'll be taking him to the vet when quarantine is over, but in the meantime, I want to see what y'all think. Thanks for any help.
