Bamboo

Just cut down some fresh bamboo and stripped the leaves (we won't have the B&G Macaw yet for another few weeks). Is it ok to just wash it with water mixed with a big of vinegar? We plan on making a bunch of DIY perches and toys.

Do not forget the vetwrap!

Bamboo is really, really hard&slippery and you are getting a baby (who is clumsy anyway)-- so some padding that provides friction for better grip would be nice.

(Or wrap with rope for a more 'natural' look )

Will do! I have natural sisal rope i got busy for that purpose.
