Decided to make something new for the birds! They’re pancakes!
We’ll see what they think for breakfast!

Dry ingredients:
1/4-1/3 almond flour
Chia seeds
Rolled oats

Wet ingredients:
1 mashed banana
1 egg
A handful of blueberries

Cooked in a pan on low, greased the pan with coconut oil. Maybe 3 minutes each side?

Ok, I just saw this after coming back from the grocery store - and now I am going to make another trip to get ingredients. The kids will be tickled pink to eat pancakes with the parrots.

I gave them a try with their dinner, I know it’s good when Tony says ‘Mmm!’
They all ate it, seems to be a hit!
I tried a piece too, sweet enough for a human to enjoy too! Especially if you put a little syrup on it.

I'm sending the ingredients list to my husband, I can't wait to share with my birds! Although between Xander and Talli, I may not get any.

I added both your recipes to the Birdie Bread Resource thread, I think that lots of birds are going to be enjoying them!

Looks good!! I’m tempted to get a banana and try making this for Ona. Baked treats seem to be kinda hit or miss with her so I wonder if she’d like it. It would probably take her six months to eat one batch of these :ROFLMAO: I bet your flock demolished it pretty quick!

Each pancake was about the diameter of a 5 oz. Bowl. I had them all split one to try. I’ll do it as a treat 1-2 a week.
