So Bella had a near miss about a week ago and she is no longer allowed in the cupboard.
I always knew I would have to keep her out of there sooner or later but not for the reason that came up

Bella had been playing in the cupboard for some time, maybe 20 min, when my Son walked in to the kitchen and saw Bella struggling to get out. One of her toe claws had gotten stuck in the metal strip that runs up/down in each corner of the cabinet (used for adjusting the shelf spacing). The thing is she did not make any noise she was just yanking on her foot and not going anywhere.
I jumped up on a chair and freed her is seconds but if my Son had not spotted her it could have goon real bad.

If you look in the extreme right in the photo you can where she got stuck.

So I put a bunch of stuff on the top shelf and she has np room to play in.

The other thing is my wife (Bella's chosen person) is out of the picture for a bit over a month (visiting family in S.A.). Bella is taking it fairly well. I do think she is looking for her (my wife) because she keeps flying down the hallway and grabbing hold of door jams, looking in bedrooms in hopes of finding her. She does get to talk to her through Skype every day and she does respond to my wife's voice but it's not the same.

I don't know what it is about cubby's and greys..Smokes would sit in a cubby on my computer desk and rip thru my printer paper. Glad your son was so alert Wes.

So happy for the positive outcome for Bella.

When Bella's 'favorite sweetheart' returns home, there will be payment to be made for being gone and extended stick-eye to suffer. But the cuddles will quickly come.

Modern technology has helped save many a Staff Human...

Good grief, what a great save Wes! I'll bet Bella is enjoying her virtual Skype visits!
