Hey

We moved Crackers cage upstairs and she is way more active, she has a spiral rope with a bell on the end and she moved it to her favorite perch. So now she blings it every 4 seconds.

She not just more active she is being bad when I was putting her tray of newspaper at the bottom witch I do every week she flew at me squawking! Also the instruction sheet for the house sitter is all ripped and half in the cage so she is more active.

I want to get a leash or a tether so I can take her out side?? Any of you have them??

Darkchi has one in her signature, Peta has one and Tracy has one for Popsicle.I think they know about it a bit more so I leave it to them to tell you more.

I was planning to get one for Phoebus but maybe next summer, if he ever steps up...

Slayor, there are a lot of us who have harness' now, and there are many out there. I think (IMO) the best one is the aviator which you can see here.

I don't think the aviator is made small enough for 'keets, is it? I thought I had the smallest one they made for Mac, and that is way too big for a keet.

Yeah the aviators are too large for a parakeet. It would probably be much to heavy also.

Maybe get a *travel* cage for Cracker and you can take him out & about with you that way.

The toy looks kinda big. What kind of bird is Popsicle? No offense I cant tell at all from the picture. Another toy Cracker likes are those ring chains. I move the to hang from the top of the cage and in front of her perch and this morning I woke up and she was hanging from it with just her beak then she fell. :2_smile::smiley4::18: Also I stopped at the store yesterday and pick up a new granola bar and and another kind of a granola bar in what I think is some sort of eatable box. It said it was safe...:20::06::smile031:
