Sandwich bird keeps picking at the walls to rip the wallpaper off. The wall paper is embossed (that bumpy textured, squishy feeling stuff.) I don't think he's actually eating the wallpaper, he just seems to enjoy redecorating my house!

Anyway, I'm sure this isn't good for him as the wallpaper has been painted, and this isn't really the new look I had in mind for my living room.

Does anyone else have this problem?

(He can't get to the wallpaper from his cage, he only picks at the walls when he's out)

LOL, sorry couldn't help but snicker at this one.

All my fids, but especially my Macaw finds ways to "redecorate", despite my best efforts at keeping certain things out of beak's reach. :o He's gotten a hold of some molding and "rerouted" it, much to my husband's dismay, he's torn the window screen, took a chunk out of a ceiling fan, nicked some pillows and ripped a hole into the computer chair.

The best and ONLY advice I have to offer is to just keep trying to keep him as far away from things you don't want him to mess with as possible....and even that doesn't always seem to work.

Lol, Sandwich has ripped all the stuffing out of my computer chair too!

LOL.. Codie pulled my favourite Silk Flower Arrangement apart yesterday :(
