Jacob a sun conure who found me!
So yesterday and most of today I was house sitting/dog sitting.. I brought my dog and bird with me on the train in their respective crates.

So we are at Jamaica waiting for the train home, we are all rather tired after our little trip.. Jacob is slowly falling asleep, Im doing some training with Scooby on the platform.. All of a sudden Jacob realizes he can't see us and do the flock call, and Scooby forgets all about training and runs over and sticks his head in until Jacob calms down.. and funny is, seeing the dog calmed him down..

I wish Scooby gave me that much attention when i called him.. but i think the whole positive association has taken effect on both animals. only time they are allowed on the bed with me is when they are together..

if bird behaves badly I toss him off the bed, and vice verse with the dog.. Now birdy will walk over to Scoobs on his puppy bed and preen him as opposed to nip him. once in a blue moon though he still tries to sneak in a nip when jealousy gets the better of him, but it's funny how he will keep an eye on me while he does it lol

nutty animals!!

"keeps an eye on you", they know when they are up to mischief ! :54:

=D That's hilarious! My bunny always looks at me before she does something she's not supposed to--so funny.

That's histerical. :)

It is really surprising. The birds are my love and i love birds because of their faithfulness.
Birds are always can perform best if we provide them some opportunities.
Nice sharing it is.

It's funny billsbird cause he really do know.... It's amazing how smart they are, bt I was very amazed over the dog realizing the bird was in distress and ran over to him..

Im happy to see that they are getting better though..

Please be extremely careful when the bird and dog are together in the same room.

One could be having a bad day, be in a bad mood, just like us humans.

As you know animals are very unpredictable.

There have been tragic "accidents" where the bird has been killed by the dog, even though they were friendly towards each other for years.
