Hey,
I grow a ton of this *miracle* guard every year. The whole plant and guard is extremely good for humans and has a ton of medicinal properties. It prevents sugar absorption in the body, treats cancer, and digestive disorders. I am wondering if anyone knows if it would be safe to feed parrots?
I doubt they will eat it anyway cause it taste horrible. But if she will id like to know if it would be ok for her.
Here is a link to mote info on the plant: Momordica charantia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I understand this is old, but I have the same question. Goya (as it is known in Okinawa, Japan) has long been tied to the longevity of lifespan of centurions in the area. I’m curious if bitter Mellon is safe for parrotlets.

This plant is native plants in many Asia and Oceania country. I know that wild birds eat them, and then excrete the seeds everywhere.
