Hi , My alexadrine Georgie has not had a DNA test. He is 2 and a half , few days ago we noticed black feather's beside and under beak. Can the ring start there instead of the neck at all?

I think the black part of the Alex neck ring starts under and to the side of the beak and goes about halfway around before it’s replaced with rose at the nape of the neck? So ventral neck ring is black, dorsal neck ring is rose, more or less.
