Yes, Luci has a new home. I am so happy to have her. She is just wonderful and I think has made a good transition. The first time ever to be with other birds and her adjusted has been great.

I am still in shock! It was quite a gift of love. Jan loves Luci with all her heart but wanted a better life for her. Luci will be 15 April 2014.

Not desperate at all. She is moving and traveling a lot and Luci was having problems plucking due to being alone. Luci seems to be happy with me and my other birds. I know she loves her mom but Jan can and will visit her anytime she wants. Jan is moving to Florida and not a very long drive. Mean while Luci is doing very well and gets plenty of attention and love and never alone. Jan made a very unselfish decision. I speak to her all the time and send photos. Jan is such a sweetheart and loves Luci so much! She knows Luci gets everything and then some here, I spare no expense. No plucking so far and her chest has pretty much filled in. I will try and post photo's. I also have a Palm named Poe and they socialize when out of the cage and kiss. Poe is only 1.5 years old but likes older women, meaning Luci at almost 15 years old.

I have Poe and Luci, Palms as you know, a Queen of Bavaria named Bailey, a Rose Breasted Galah named Murphy and a Spanish Timbrado named Elvis.
