Blood Feather?

About a week ago, I was just doing a training practice with my birds. Everything was great until I noticed a red spot on my budgie, Snow's head. I thought it was dust from the colored pellets I give. However, it has been there from a week and has come to 2 other head feathers (they are all separate from each other). So I am curious what they might be.

THise teeny tiny feathers dont usually become problems with bleeding, even tho they technically have the same blood mechanisms that large feathers do. Just too small to be issues. Could this be dried on poops or food? Why not give her a good bath/shower and see whats left?

Update. It is still there after a bath using a spray bottle.

Feathers grow from the body outwards, and unless there was an active bleed it wouldn't present on the outer aspect like that. I'm assuming you've dug in a bit to observe the skin and the base of the feathers? If it continues to spread I would probably take him to your board certified avian vet for a closer look.
