Books with avian characters

I have begun to find many books, mostly fantasy or sci-fi, some young adult novels, having avian characters. Bird or bird people characters. Sometimes these books are great reads, sometimes they’re silly, sometimes they are both silly and really enjoyable.

So, I’d like to start a list of these books (books with bird or bird-person characters) in case forum members will enjoy them.

Remember Mercedes Lackey’s bird books around 1995-2000? Those were fun.

Now she writes a bit too weirdly for me but the early books were better, I MO.
