Breeding greencheek

Hi, I have a breeding pair of 1-1/2 yr old green cheeks, tamed and used to being out of their cage all day, My question is do I have to leave them in the cage for her to lay( she hasent laid any eggs yet, she goes into box) or can we have our regular routine of letting them out?

when mine were breeding,i just gave them their usual time out,the male would spent his time with me and go back to feed her every few moments,and she would come to give me some kisses and hugs,then crap all over my desk and go back.
after the young was 3 weeks i took her out,because she had splayed legs and had to work on fixing it,but they would just do their own thing and then feed her or preen her.
i didn't even realize she was laying after she refused to come out,the box is their domain so i believe it will work out for you.
