Budgie or parrotlet?

We got this white bird awhile back & he was sold to us as a budgie, but every time I stare at them I’m beginning to think they are a parrotlet. Am I just overthinking ? What do you guys think he is ?

100% budgie. Parrotlets do not have the bare bulging nares that budgies have. Parrotlets also are missing the long thin tail feathers of budgies. They have short stubby tails, much like Amazons. THere are other ore subtle differences, these are the obvious ones.

Thank you ! When I scrolled through some videos on tiktok I noticed I couldn’t tell the difference between them!
