Angel Antique Play Top Parrot Cage | | Simply Cages

Merlin isn't really one who spends a lot of time in his cage as I'm home pretty much 24/7. However when I do eventually start work (or Uni the year after) he's gonna spend a lot of time in his cage. Because we're getting a CAG in a few weeks time, both breeders have suggested that Merlin and the CAG share a cage - which we're fine with, providing they both get along just fine.

Anywho, ideal plan is Merlins current cage becomes their sleep cage (in mine and andrews bedroom) and I buy this cage for them to be in he rest of the day, playing together and in the livingroom. What do you guys think? We won't have masses of space, so the playtop is quite handy, we do have a playstand too but hey, everyone loves some choice.

If they don't get on, then the CAG will get Merlins current cage and Merlin will be downgraded (as his cage is too large for him really)

Thoughts, anyone? :)

I STRONGLY suggest separate cages. They will eventually get territorial and it can get really ugly with one picking the other's feathers, biting and really hurting one another, etc. Also, if they share a cage, and one of them gets sick, you have to hurry out and buy another cage to quarantine them.

However, as far as cages go, this is the cage I have. I love it, it is huge for my Senegal, provides her with wing room, and she will fly around a little in her cage. A lot of them have playtops on top of the cage now (this seller has them as well). But you have to watch those because the play top has a grate to catch the bird droppings and it doesn't give enough room to hang toys on the top of the inside of the cage.

What I LOVE about my cage, is the fact that there is a small perch that comes with the cage for the dome. You can hang toys outside the cage as well as inside and Max is completely content to climb around and play inside and outside of her cage.

I bought this cage from this seller on Ebay. And this guy only has these large, decent cages 2 or 3 times a year. I am not kidding, my aunt was just looking for this cage 2 months ago, and I went to his store and he didn't have ANY bird cages!

Okay, I tried the link, and it sent me to some weird page, so Instead of sending the actual link, I am going to add the item number of the EBAY buy it now auction. The item number is: 370537632523
