CAG with new flight license

I bought my female CAG with clipped wings. It was quite sad as she kept falling down on the floor and injured her belly several times. However during the time she molted and grew out new feathers, so now finally she can fly again. I trained her to fly to me for my demand and she does it perfectly. The problem is that she also flies to me whenever she wants to, which could be problematic. Every time she flights to me without me asking her to I put her back on her cage to let her understand that it is not ok. Am I doing right? Or are there other ways to explain her not to fly to me if not asked to?
