Hi, I am getting a baby GCC in a couple weeks and am shopping around for a cage. I am between these two.

28x20x41 inside dimensions and 5/8 bar width
BIRDCAGES4LESS.com: Lihue Landing™ Dometop

29x17.5x37 inside dimensions and 1/2 bar width

For the first one I am a little concerned with the 5/8 bar width and on the second one I am concerned that the depth of 17.5 is not big enough. What do you guys think?

The bar spacing on either should be fine. I would buy the first one because it's bigger for the same money. GCCs are pretty small though so either cage would work.

Sorry edited, second one is 29.25x17.5. Good to know though thanks.

They are both plenty large enough. I just wouldn't exceed 5/8" bar spacing with a GCC. But that should be small enough that it wouldn't get it's head stuck. My conure can barely get her beak through it, although I realize she is twice the size of a GCC.

Thanks! I am going to get the first one.

That thing is huge for a little greencheek..LOL..
I hate the dome tops myself because its hard to position toys except along the edges inside...But my green chicken loves to hang by one leg and slide down the inside of her dome top cage..
