Ryu, a green cheek conure pineapple . Age 2, fully flighted
Wondering if any of my fellows would mind showing me how you have your Conure's cage set up ?

I was told that they need to have room to flap wings but should have enough toys and perches to not get bored.... I feel I have crowded the cage though and would like feedback and to see what others are doing.

I like to look at the customer review photos for bird cages on Amazon.com to see how others set up their cages and to get ideas.

Do your conures climb up on top of everything that you have there? I find that some stuff I put in for Ryu, he just does not touch.

Okay so I only have one bird, Amelia a yellow sided GCC, I recently upgraded her cage to this one , I put a variety of toys and types of perches.
I tried not to cluster stuff so she has a bunch of room to move around.
Its still a work in progress as I'm still trying to figure out what she likes and dislikes lol.
Hope this helps!

Here is Maxx and Emmas cage.

This is Sassi's cage when nobody is home and at night. It's in a spare bedroom; I wanted a room with a door for security from the other pets. She has another smaller cage in the main living room, but she is rarely ever in that one because 'shoulder surfing'.
She used to sleep in the sleep box, but now she prefers the orb. The heat lamp is just for at night, and she can vary the heat by moving around the orb. She loves her platforms, but plays in the sleep box more. She hauls toys from the bottom up there and I think she prefers the sleep box because the toys don't fall off as easily. How do I know all this? I spy on her via webcam while I'm at work. ;) It's very satisfying when she has to go get her own toys after she drops them!
I don't know why I labeled the seed cup. It's a treat cup really.

Mostly. Neither are big toy players but love the ladders.

For some reason it wont let me post pics but our conure has LOTS of perches of different sizes and materials. She has some rope perches but I am careful to check them every day to make sure she is not pulling strings out of them she also loves shreadables I make sure that nothing is above the food/water to help keep them clean.
