Celebrating A First

I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate. I switched Pippen from a seed and nuts diet to pellets and veggies. Ater the first day he was like a totally different bird, I was able to give him treats by hand. Which was a first for us both. He was still very timid and unsure about my hands but he's coming around. He has also been very interested in getting closer to me and he gets nearly close enough to touch my face, lol. Sometimes I sit with my back to the cage, and he will pull at my shirt, lol. So, being able to hand feed treats was my first goal in building a trust and bond! I'm going to spend some time enjoying this mile marker and then we will move onto the next goal in a week or two! Thanks for reading! I know it's not a big deal but it's an awesome moment for us, lol.
