CHOP strike

Cozy is molting, we got feathers flyin, people! I’ve been trying to give her extra protein in her CHOP with things she likes and has eaten before (eggs and quinoa), but she won’t eat her CHOP since her molt started going full force. Is that a thing that budgies or parrots in general do? She eats all her seed mix though

I was wondering... have you tried birdy bread? SNeak in that protein rich chop into some Pancake mix and serve it up all warm. I know my cockatiels went nuts for it

I have not tried birdy bread! Good call. So do you just use a standard pancake mix put the chop in and bake it ?

Pretty much! I microwave mine. Faster than baking and same result in the end.
