Clearing apartment of incense smell

I'm getting my first parrot (a Senegal) next week. Although I have all the supplies I need, I wasn't expecting to get him/her quite so soon. I was dumb and burned some incense yesterday, and my 1-bedroom apartment has that incense scent in it now. The bird will be here in 4 days. As of now I've opened some windows and turned on some ceiling fans and vents. Do you think I'll be able to get the smell out by the time he/she arrives? Is there anything else I should do to make the air safer?

If you have carpets Bi-carb (of Soda) sprinkled on can help.

I'd just open the windows and air it out. Honestly though, I think you'll be fine. When it comes to potentially dangerous odors, I would say incense is pretty low on the list. Perfumes and spray air fresheners are more concerning than incense smell.

While we don't anymore, back when we first had our zon, we used to burn incense with him in our small apartment (in the bedroom when he was in the living room). It never seemed to bother him, though as I said, we wouldn't do it now.
