clicking???

hey guys i have a problem...maybe, beanie made this clicking sound one day nd i told her good girl while cuddling nd now she dooes it everytime she cuddles nd i thinking shes grind her beak to do it iss this bad? how do i stop her if it is?

Their beaks are growing continually. Just like fingernails. Its perfectly fine for them to grind their beaks. Its even common for them to grind thier beaks when they are happy. You got yourself one content bird

thanks lol i was worried it was something like when a human grinds their teeth lol but yeah she is a pretty happy girl she is such a cuddler! if i move my hand when shes sleepy shes like cling wrap lol i move my hand at the same time she moves straight to my hand and she will attack my phone bc ill b texting instead of petting her and she will push her lil head in no my hand or finger so i pet her lol shes so adorable anyways thanks =)

she was just weaned when i got her she was born on march 4th well hatched lol so however old that is i think around 2 or 3 months but yeah shes super sweet but for some strange reason if i make a kiss noise which i kiss her beak bc i want to teach her to give kisses but if i make this noise without kissing her she freaks out and flys onto the floor (epicly fails since she just got her wings clipped lol) but i have no clue why lol like she tweets everytime i do it then goes and flys lol i was thinking maye shes looking for another bird or something bc the breeder had an african grey who said "hello" when i walked in lol and it made an emt sound tooo so i was thinking maybe it made a kiss noise idk lol but im trying to break her of it lol, but thanks for yout concern and questions =)

she is i need to remember to take pictures and put them on, i hope you get a cuddle bug like Beanie lol do you have yours and your waiting for it to be weaned or do you have to get one still?

I get mine near the end of May and I have to weane/handfeed it for about a month(Wish me luck!).

Scared as can be about it but I feel pretty confident about it.

Hopefully soon I'll find out when they can be DNA'ed and I can find out what to name him/her! lol I'm really hoping for a girl though for some reason.

P.S. Hatch day is April 26th day lol So I'll get it at roughly 1 month

Oh and I correct myself! Little over 2 month not under, I was thinking it was still april lol

lol haha its ok, and thats so exciting! i was going to get a baby tht was 3 weeks old but im in only 14 and i have school and i was so afraid it would die lol i wish you the best of luck =)

17 here in highschool, I'm not to worried about it dieing while I'm away at school, I'm more worried about having to work during a feeding time and leaving it to someone else

Oh I will! I'm just not sure how much I should handle it as a baby (besides hand feeding).
Not sure what is safe to be handled at such a young age lol

lol wow...we have a lot of young members on this forums lol. I'm 16 just to throw that in there And Sabbath With my first one I used to worry so much! I was like "Oh I hope we dont get ants, or I hope Linius drinks the water!" The fear goes away after a while
