So clotisol is a liquid anti styptic that is suppose to be so great and better then the powders. Well i was clipping my galahs nails and one got to short as his quicks are very long currently it seems. I went to try to use the clotisol and it was the worst thing ever. It just made a mess and didnt even stop the bleeding properly. I dont know what others thoughts on this product are but im gonna say a big fat no if anyone is interested in buying it. Just stick to the flour, corn startch or commerical styptic powders or pencils.

would like to hear everyone elses response to it if they have used it or seen it used.

Funny you should mention this, I too had my RB2's nails clipped, one was too short and bled. I used just flour, did the trick. Looks like I wont be purchasing clotisol anytime soon, anyways, I always found plain flour or corn starch pretty much did the trick. :)

Yes as have i usually using any of these or a styptic powder brand, but thought id try something that was acclaimed to be better and recommened by vets worldwide-.-... yea well no! It was just a mess that didnt need to be made and was annoying and so on. Thanks for your input!
