What are some of the most common tricks for a cockatiel to learn? Also, what are some good "training" treats to use for cockatiels?

Millet is typically well favored by many of them.

I haven't really taught my tiel any tricks, but I know that there are cockatiels on youtube that know to do tricks.

Mine still hates millet, should I put some in his food bowl along with his regular food so he might try it?

Wow, that's pretty rare that a cockatiel doesn't like millet! Have you tried sunflower seed? The cockatiels I used to have loves it, but one of them prefer millet.

Common tricks are turn around, wings, lay on your hand, hanging upside down (called the bat trick), talk and wave.

Like the kind that you can buy at a gas station? Or just the kind that's in his feed?

Cockatiels are great at learning tricks :)

This is Dante the cockatiel I found and tamed, then later gave to one of my best friends. He is adorable when he waves(she also taught him to talk)

My cockatiels really love Avicakes...almost as much as they love millet.
I haven't really tried to teach mine any tricks, but I know they're definitely capable of learning a lot!

I found out he LOVES treat sticks, so I broke it up into pieces and use it as a reward for doing good. They are so cute when doing tricks!
