cockatoo love bite?

Hi, I have a gorgeous umbrella cockatoo, but unfortunately he keeps attacking and biting my mom and my fiance. The strange thing is he seems to love them (he is a very shy bird and I'd people come around that he doesn't know he just sits quietly) so it's not a hatred thing. I don't know what to do.

Is he bonded to you and maybe jealous of your mom and fiance? Just my first thought...

My first thought on this one would be displacement biting. Was there anything that the bird was afraid of that might have triggered it?! He might have been warning the people to stay away from those scary objects...

My second thought is "He's a U2..." (like climbing Everest) "...because it's there."

It's a distant second. But it's possible.

Displacement biting is more likely, though, especially with a shy bird. He's communicating with his beak.

Third thought: Also because it's a U2. "THAT'S MINE!" Did they have something that he wanted at the time?! If so, I change my answer to (c).
