What beautiful pictures, do they visit often.. That must be so nice to watch.

I love it when the Lorrie's wake up in the morning and when they all come in at sundown, the noise drives a lot of people crazy but I love it. We have a bottlebrush bush in our garden and they love coming to visit.

Thanks guys :)

Yes Aims they are here most days. Know what you mean Caliope! Common ones around here are rainbow and scaly breasted lorries, king parrots, galahs, cockatoos and pale faced rosellas. Together with the non parrots they give a deafening morning chorus haha. I love it though :)

I bet they are really fun to watch in the wild. Pretty picture thanks for sharing. Alison and sweetie pie:D

They are beautiful pics!!! The birds are so cute, you just want to scoop them up and cuddle them. (although, probably not the best idea)

Haha, you took the words right out of my mouth! Beautiful birds, just don't let them or you might lose a finger!

Oh My! How beautiful they are in they`re natural habitat.
I am trying to get Cameo to enjoy nature outside but she is so domesticated she is helpless and more frigthtened of her own shadow. I do have Cameo walking in the grass in my backyard now but not for long before she is back on her outdoor cage. She has found that rose flowers are good to eat. This does not go over very well with my wife however. Cameo did have fun foraging in our garden and found the raspberry bushes a difficult adventure but the rewards worth the work. The raspberry bushes and the sweet pepper plants were her favorites. Now if I could only teach her to pull weeds this could really work out.

That is too AMAZING! I can't even imagine waking up and seeing wild parrots!! You must be in Australia? Someone I know there has wild Rose Breasted Cockatoos prance around!!!! They are hard to find (and expensive) here in the US, I have never seen one in real life.

WOW!!! how amazing....they are beautiful! thank you for sharing :)

Wow! I am so jealous!

All I get to see in my yard are Blue Jays, Robins (my favorite especially when they're big and fat), and those really stupid Mourning Doves. (they also like to sit in the street and not move. I'm surprised more haven't been flattened.) Oh! We also get a lot of Cardinals in the fall/winter time. I like watching them eat at the feeder when it's snowing. The bright red on white looks so cool. I am just waaaaay jealous of the cockatoos that show up in your yard. If I saw anything like that I'd know it was somebody's pet that escaped!

Oh! Would love to see this happen in my yard ok can I come live over there? Ok I do get pelicans come to visit sometimes. And we had a gator visit last week but nothing like that.

Yep! In rural area just south of Brisbane :) Yeah we have alot of galahs here too (Thats what we call them, I had to google what a rose breasted cockatoo was haha!)

I'll try get some close up wild galah pictures for you Echo.

Customcasket: I love the cardinals! One of my favourite sightings in the USA when I visited was a little cardinal :) They are beautiful.

Oh no. I'll keep my stupid Mourning Doves and you can keep those gators. I'm glad nothing like that lives around here.
