She seems to have taken on a whole different personality since she turned 1. I think, this morning she was trying to tell me that she does not like my hand invading her Cage, which is her own private space LOL.

She is now back to her normal loving self

Yes , we have kissed and made up lol. She seems to be back to her normal self again

I will be a bit apprehensive about putting my hand in her Cage to get that bowl out in the morning though I will be watching her body language very closely

Codie was absolutely fine this morning Wendy I was very apprehensive about putting my hand in to get her bowl, but this morning she did as she always does and put her head down for me to pet her!

I can only think that she was having an off day yesterday

This Nitro taking a little nip, not really a bite. We had just rehomed him and this was first week out of quarantine. Nitro is male YNA about 725 grams and has lived alone in his cage for a long time. believe it or not, but i'm his favorite person, He just doesn't know what to do with peoples yet. Have you figured out why we call him Nitro ?

I hope your arm recovers quickly but stay patient because your bird loves you. Amazons are notorious for being moody. My Quaker Breezy gets moody sometimes but I never mind. The only time my hand gets injured is when I am separating two fighting birds, lol. The bullying bird is always Snoopy the Senegal. Peace Be To You.

I haven't been on here in a few days but I noticed that the day you posted this was the same day that Gilly nailed me pretty good! He actually tagged me twice (warnings) then the third time it drew blood! There must've been something in the air that day!!! Glad that Codie is back to normal, Gilly is still a little grumpy...He's not wanting to step up anymore...LOL!

Codie is fine with me now, but she is giving her Toys alot of grief at the moment, so she still is in quite a grumpy mood.. Must be the time of Year LOL... Maybe they suffer with SAD like some of us Humans do
