I give my flock a veggie mix in the morning, that I steam for a very short time that consists of green beans, mixed colored bell peppers, kale, spinach, turnips, broccoli, carrots, corn, peas, squash, zucchini, and whatever other random goodness I can find in the organic veggie dept. I tend to make a months worth and freeze the rest for when I need it. I also add in eggs (with the shells cooked along), chicken or turkey here and there. Crap I add in sprouts, veggie pasta, cooked wild rice, barley and mixed beans as well!
I give them a small meal in the evening too that is usually from the dinners I cook, or if what we are eating is too rich or unhealthy, I make them a noodle meals with a mix in of goodies for them.
I give fruit in between in very small amounts.
Ofcourse, I also have pellets available to them almost all of the time.
