I personally think conures are a great option for a pet! They are playful and very entertaining - anytime I've brought my conure on a walk with his harness everyone is always laughing at his sillyness. They aren't that good for sitting around on your shoulder like 'tiels are but are super playful and fun. However, they might rest on your shoulder if they're tired. They do have their cons, though. They are extremely loud and never seem to zip it! As noted, conures are not great for sitting around - always action! That may be a pro for you, but others disagree. No matter if you get a conure, a cockatiel, or any other birb, you are definitely going to adore them! <3
