Hello again everyone! My GCC, Bowie is going to be turning 1 on September 30th and I want to make it a tradition to make it special for her. I'm trying to decide on what kind of "cake" I should whip up for her and have fun with it. I know I could just treat her with a bunch of fruit, favorite veggies and seeds but I'd like to arrange it somehow to jazz it up a bit. :]

Have any of you made a special treat on their birthday? I'd like to know the kinds of things you guys have made!

instead of cake make a jello fruit cake sugar free jello (gelatin) with strawberries and apples and orange pieces. Or if your bird is like mine; a warm beef burger with cheese, pepperoni, and bacon .....but he's a bad bird at times.....

Ohh that's a good idea, I had no idea they could eat sugar free jello. The dye in it isn't harmful to them?

no more than the dye in pellets and other foods such as dried papaya treats.it's all FD&C yellow #5 etc.

ah yea true, I forgot that her Zupreem pellets had dye in them lol thank you for the suggestions! :)

There is such a thing as birdie bread? I'm going to have to Google that one, it'd be cute if I actually could bake her a legit, little bird safe cake lol
