Conure with feather problems

I’m not suggesting allergies is for sure the cause - Just a thought since the cause seems hard to nail down. I know sometimes allergies can develop where there previously wasn’t one. I’ve gone through a lot of allergy battles with my dogs - but of course that’s much different than a bird. It could even be an environmental allergy if it was allergy related. Something to think about at least.

And how i can find If its some type of allergy? I cant find much information about allergies on parrots

I’m not sure. Hm, I found this which mentions UV light.: http://greencheekedconure.blogspot.com/2012/02/black-discoloration-on-ends-of-bird.html Does your bird get any natural sunlight or light from a bird safe solar lamp? Might be worth asking your vet about.

Yes, she gets natural sunlight nearly every day for around 20 minutes.
