I just thought of making a thread for our conure photos, hatch date and if you want to describe little about your bird. Sharing with ours would be great idea,

So I will go first

I got my sun conure last week. She is almost 7 month old. Hatch date Feb 10,2012.
At first i was very concern about her because she was coming out or eating. She was only sleeping. It been week now and she is doing alot better now.
Thanks to all of you who made me understand everything about her(Jill).

Wow beautiful pictures. How old are you birds?

My Georgie hatched Feb 2001 but she just passed away in August 2012.....injured in her own cage! My BC just hatched July 4 and i will be getting him in a couple weeks!! My canary is between 6 and 7 years old.

Ruffledfeathers, your picture of Georgie is beautiful. I'm so sorry to hear she passed away. My senegal passed away earlier in the year and I'm still trying to get use to not having her around. We don't know how she died. She was fine the night before and was lying dead on the bottom of her cage in the morning.

i felt the same confusion with Georgie, and i was so shocked to hear the result of the necropsy! a perfectly healthy bird to die of trauma...in her cage.

Pritti was hatched 30 years ago, August 4th, 1982 and has brought joy to my family for all 30 years, and I've been his mom for the past 20 years. He's a cherry-headed conure (red-masked conure), was purchased from a pet store in Queens, New York, had a band on foot way back then. He was DNA tested about 15 years ago and has received excellent medical care (through some scary times) by the amazing Daryl Backos, ABVP Certified Avian Vet in Deerfield Beach, FL.

He's snuggly, bossy, in charge of the house all too often, funny, cute, finicky, loving, and a rather independent, courageous boy. Even at 30, he's still my baby.

yes, i want to know how you insert the photos in your post too. that was why i just put the link to my flickr album....couldn't find how to insert the pics. hmmmm. seems it should be so obvious.
