My little buddy Cooper just passed away this morning. He wasn’t young but he was so full of life and energy every day that it was hard to think of him as a senior bird. Cooper was the happiest bird I ever met in my life. He filled up a room with his cheerful singing and flying acrobatics. He may have just been a little guy but he brought an incredible amount of joy to my life. It’s going to seem terribly quiet without him. Thanks for everything Cooper. I am so blessed to have known you. I love you, buddy. Fly free now; you deserve it.

I am so sorry for your loss. Cooper was a handsome guy! His coloring reminded me of my very first bird, Hershey. I was absolutely heartbroken when he passed. Small birds hold a big place in our hearts. Fly with the angels, Cooper! ❤️

Cooper was a beautiful budgie. You don't see many Cinammon mutations outside of English budgies. Most importantly, he was happy and loved- all birds should be so lucky.

I'm so sorry for your loss, @Jcas. Budgies give SO much joy and love, many many times the size of their tiny bodies, and thankfully those things live on in our hearts forever. Fly high and free now, Cooper, you will be loved for all eternity. 💖💖💖💖💖

Cooper passed while loved and treasured... that's a beautiful bond that lasts into Eternity. I believe that.
I offer my sincerest sympathy and support.

Thank you so much everyone for your kind thoughts and words. It’s truly such a comfort to be part of a forum filled with such genuine kindness and understanding. Lots of love to all my fellow bird lovers and please give your feathered buddies an extra head scritch for me today ❤️❤️❤️

Cooper was beautiful. I know I will miss the sounds of my parrots when they are no longer here although their screams hurt the ears sometimes. It’s how I know what’s going on with them without even looking at them, or even being in the same room. I’m sorry you are feeling that emptiness now. My thoughts go out to you, and Cooper’s loved ones.
