Merlin still thinks that corn on the cob is the enemy! He did touch it w/his beak the other night, but won't eat it yet.

My babies love corn on the cob....my hahns always acts afraid of it at first but then dives right in.......I love how birds can eat the inside of a kernel of corn and leave the skin behind....funny little things.

Corn before they remove it from the cob (how it grows) We cook it & bite it off the cob.

Thank's Now I understand !! A good idé to test

Corn on the cob is fabulous! It's a toy and food in one!

My Nic Mic loves corn on the cob.

I have found that if a bird is intimidated by the whole or large pieces, cutting it into 3/4 inch sections (which most birds can pick up) helps get them over that.

Once they try it, i haven't known many birds who don't dig it.
