Crimson Conure Size?

Hey guys I was in the neighborhood of my local Petco and decided to torture myself by going in to look at the feathered babies. BUT while I was in there they had a sunny, pineapple conure and a crimson. The crimson was definitely bigger than the green cheek and was about 3/4 the size of the sun!! Is that just an abnormally large crimson belly or are they normally about that size??

I've seen a yellow sided that was almost as big as a sun! Really made Kyo look tiny. I think they have a really large variation in size (pyhirra's)sp?

The only crimson bellies I've been around were tiny little guys like green cheeks. I wonder if it's just differences in subspecies?

Crimsons go for 550-600 in my area and they have him for 399!! I think I'm gonna have to rescue him and I may be moving to an apartment in about a year so a pyrrhura conure may be better than a blue crown for me

Really?! Crimson and gcc are $200 from my breeder.... petco sells them for $399.

Ooo your babies just a tiny little thing! This one is a little bit smaller than a sun. That greencheek was about the size of your little one
