I lost my baby, Salsa 2 days ago to a concussion. Her mate said goodbye to her, burying his head in her plumage for what seemed like forever. We both miss her.

Welcome to the forums, @Foxqlove. I am terribly sorry for your loss of Salsa, it was the loss of my beautiful baby Baci the GCC that brought me here back in 2018, and it was the love and support of this community that made it just that bit more bearable - even though I cried for him every day for probably a year and am still brought to tears by the thought of his passing to this day. There are few things harder IMO than losing a most beloved bird, my deepest condolences go out to you and I'm so glad you're here.

SO sorry you lost your BeBe parrot, I had one awhile ago, he was such a nice parrot. You art work coveys a lot of emotion, both your parrots and yours. Very very touching.
Thank you

Oh, myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...
I am so sorry. And moved. What a powerful image.
Your darling passed while loved (by you and her mate), and that's something precious and perfect and beautiful.
Someone one sent me a sympathy card that read "May the pain of losing her soon be replaced by the joy of having had her in your life."
Thank you for sharing.

So sad. I don't know who to feel sadder for- you or her mate. At least you understand what happened to her. Her mate doesn't. He just knows she's gone.
