For the folks who do not know Danny's back story he was rescued from a really bad place. Cage way to small, beak so overgrown and misshaped from malnutrition it was scissored and hard for him to eat. His all sunflower diet was not bad enough, his bowl had 1/3 inch of black mold and rotten seeds in it. He had major fears of even moving around his cage.
While Danny still has his fears, he is doing amazing going out into public and visiting with people. Today I took him out and he stepped up for lots of people. As long as no one tried to pet him he would chat and sing for everyone! As I am slowly work towards using my birds for education, Danny is priceless! The rest are learning amazing tricks, but Danny will be the first chance many will ever have to hold a larger bird.
