Disinfecting a cage

I want to properly clean and disinfect the flight cage and toys and perches etc. Any tips to make sure the cage would be safe for any future use?

Use vinegar and water solution! It's safe to use, or they do sell bird cage disinfectant products you could purchase....Something else I use is those high heat steamers, just be real careful when you use it!!!
