Do ekkies cluck?

So I have a female who makes all kinds of noises, usually she surprises me with something new each week and I get paranoid. Today it was a soft clucking sound while she was eating. At first I thought she was having a hard time breathing but I started talking I her and she started attaking a toy angrily nearby everytime she heard her name. I wish I could record it, now she's kind of grunting at her food, while she's eating it. It's new food so I'm not sure if she's pleased or angry at it?

if its the cluck cluck cluck noise she must be at least 4 years old, that sound is her wanting to mate . it sounds so cute my oldest one will do the cluck cluck cluck noise or just say sexy lexxy when ever she wants a bit lol.

She's only about a year, it sounds more like a hiccup really. She does it a lot when she gets out of the shower and she's sitting on her cage drying off. Could it be that she has inhaled too much water? I try to watcher in the shower but she just opens her mouth. She eats like a pig and is generally social so I don't think there's anything wrong.

They will always swallow a lot of water in the shower. Its no big deal.
