I'm trying to teach my alexandrine parrot to talk and I was wondering; does the color of the room help the parrot to learn better? As in, certain colors will get them to stay focused and some will create a non-learning environment. Because certain colors convey different emotions. For example: yellow is thought to improve memory, while red is associated with anger or sometimes food. What is your views on this? :green2:

i've heard of this as well, this is why green are pro-dominant colors in hospitals (health) etc.

this might be a really interesting documentary to watch for you - [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b71rT9fU-I"]BBC Horizon: Do you see what I see? "The Himba tribe" - YouTube[/ame] (i dont think its the full one tho... :( )

Was that is amazing. I've always wondered this but didn't know how to start to research it. Thank you very much for sharing this with me.
