Dogwood chews??

Hello pardon my ignorance but we are a first time birb owner with other pets. My favorite chews for the dogs are called dogwood synthetic wood chews. They come in multiple size and I like that when the dogs chew them they don't form sharp points like a bunch of other synthetic chews on the market. My question is would these be safe for perches and swings? They are smooth and easy to clean but have texture. Also I would of course use new unchewed ones, sanitized first.
