Dried palm cups and coconut flowers - Safe?

Hi everyone,

I found dried 'palm cups' and coconut flowers on a Dutch website for flower supplies. They look awesome and I think birds would love to play with/chew/destruct them!

But... are they safe to use for toymaking?? I can't find anything on it...

I don't know about the flowers but the palm cup is safe.
